How to Use Brevo with HotBot AI: Campaign Drafts, Repurposing, and Performance Recaps

If you run email campaigns in Brevo and you’re tired of clicking through dashboards to reconstruct what worked, the HotBot Brevo AI integration lets you ask instead. Once you’re signed in as a member, you connect Brevo inside HotBot, and the assistant works with your Brevo data directly. No CSV exports, no copy-paste. This guide covers connecting the two, then walks through workflows for drafting campaigns, repurposing one piece into many, and pulling performance recaps that help you plan the next send.

Most marketers aren’t short on data. They’re short on time to read it. That’s the gap this closes.

What You’ll Need

  • A HotBot membership. Connectors are a members-only feature, so you’ll need to be signed in. (Sign in or subscribe here.)
  • A Brevo account (formerly Sendinblue) with at least one campaign or contact list, so there’s something to work with.
  • A few campaign ideas or past sends you want to draft, repurpose, or analyze.
  • Five minutes to connect things and run your first prompt.

No code and no API keys to babysit.

Estimated time: 10–15 minutes for your first workflow Difficulty: Beginner. If you can write an email, you can do this.

One disclosure before we start: HotBot is an independent AI chat service. It is not an official Brevo product and it isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Brevo. Third-party names here identify the apps and models you can use, nothing more. What HotBot gives you is one subscription with access to 800+ models from every major provider, plus its own HotBot Chat, Chat Plus, and Chat Pro (1M-token context, vision) and the HotBot Image engine.

Step 1: Sign In and Connect Brevo Inside HotBot

You need to be a signed-in member first. Connectors don’t work on the free tier, though there’s a workaround for that further down, so keep the tab open if you’re not subscribed yet.

Go to the HotBot login page and sign in, or subscribe if you’re new. Pricing is straightforward: a free tier, then $7.95/week or $39.95/quarter. Once you’re in, connect Brevo from inside HotBot, and the assistant will be able to read your Brevo data and draft content against it.

I’m not walking you through specific menus or approval screens, because those change and I’d rather not send you chasing a button that’s since moved. Connect Brevo from inside HotBot once you’re signed in. If something looks unfamiliar, the HotBot models page and login flow will orient you.

Step 2: Draft Campaigns and Subject Lines with Live Context

Instead of staring at a blank campaign editor, ask HotBot to draft. Because it can read your Brevo data, the draft is grounded in your actual audience and past performance rather than generic filler.

For fast, everyday drafting, HotBot Chat does the job. It’s quick and handles subject lines and short campaigns without overthinking. Try something like:

Draft a re-engagement email for subscribers who haven't
opened anything in 60 days. Keep it under 150 words,
warm tone, one clear CTA. Give me 5 subject line options.

When you want the assistant to reason through structure, like a multi-email sequence or copy that adapts to different segments, move up to Chat Plus for step-by-step thinking:

Plan a 3-email welcome sequence for new subscribers.
Email 1: welcome + brand story. Email 2: best resources.
Email 3: soft product intro. Draft all three with subject
lines, and explain why each one is ordered where it is.

One important limit, and it’s a useful one: like Brevo’s other AI connectors, HotBot creates drafts. Brevo’s own Claude connector documents this clearly. The assistant can read and create drafts, but you review and send manually from Brevo. Nothing goes out without your eyes on it.

Step 3: Repurpose One Piece Into Many

The best part of ai marketing with Brevo is that you rarely need to write from scratch. You’ve already got winners. The job is multiplying them.

Say last month’s newsletter did well. Repurpose it instead of rewriting from zero:

Take my best-performing email from the last 30 days and
turn it into: (1) an SMS teaser under 160 characters,
(2) a short follow-up email for people who clicked but
didn't convert, (3) three social captions. Match my voice.

Plain HotBot Chat usually handles this fine, since repurposing is pattern work and it’s fast. When you want output tightly matched to a specific brand voice across many formats, a third-party model on HotBot tends to do better. With 800+ models on one subscription, you can run the same prompt against a couple of them and keep whichever matches your tone. That’s the advantage over a single-model setup: you’re not locked into one writing style.

Brevo bundles email, SMS, and WhatsApp, so repurposing across channels is straightforward. It’s the whole point of the platform, per Brevo’s own feature overview.

Step 4: Get Performance Recaps That Plan Your Next Send

Dashboards tell you what happened. They’re bad at telling you what to do next. This is the workflow that changed how I work.

Ask for a recap in plain English. The prompt patterns from Windsor.ai’s Brevo-to-ChatGPT guide translate cleanly:

Summarize my Brevo campaign performance for the last
30 days: sent, delivered, opens, unique opens, and clicks.
Then tell me which 2 campaigns performed best and what
they had in common.

The value is in that last clause: “what they had in common.” That’s analysis, not a stat dump.

For deeper reasoning across a bigger window, reach for Chat Pro. Its 1M-token context lets it work through months of campaign history and spot patterns you’d miss:

Pull performance for my last 15 campaigns. Group them by
send day and subject line style. Which combinations get
the highest unique click rate? Give me 3 testable
hypotheses for next quarter.

That mirrors the “walk the dashboard in one chat exchange” idea from StackSwap’s Brevo workflow writeup: real open/click/bounce data, not operator memory.

Step 5: Chain It All Together (My Actual Weekly Routine)

This is how I string these together. Monday morning, I run a recap prompt (Step 4). Based on what it flags, I draft the week’s send (Step 2). Then I repurpose the best bits into SMS and social (Step 3). Fifteen minutes, start to finish.

Which model when? A rough rule of thumb:

Task Best fit
Subject lines, quick drafts, repurposing HotBot Chat
Sequences, structured reasoning HotBot Chat Plus
Deep multi-campaign analysis, long history HotBot Chat Pro (1M context)
Nailing a specific brand voice Test a third-party model

Without the Connector: The Free-Tier Workaround

No membership yet? You can still get most of the value, it’s just more manual.

Grab the content or numbers you want from Brevo, whether that’s a past campaign or your stats export, paste it straight into HotBot, and prompt against it:

Here's my last campaign copy and its open/click stats:
[paste]. Rewrite it for better opens and tell me what
to change based on the numbers.

You lose the live connection, since you’re feeding data manually instead of the assistant reading it directly. But the drafting, repurposing, and analysis all still work. It’s a fair way to test-drive the workflows before you subscribe.

Common Issues

The assistant can’t see my Brevo data. Check that you’re signed in as a member and that Brevo is connected from inside HotBot. Connectors are members-only, so the free tier can’t connect apps. Use the paste workaround above instead.

It drafted something but nothing sent. That’s by design. HotBot creates drafts; you review and send from Brevo yourself. Nothing goes out automatically, which you’ll appreciate the first time a draft has a typo.

The recap numbers look off. Ask the assistant to restate exactly which date range and campaigns it used. Vague prompts get vague answers, so specify the window and metrics like in the Step 4 examples.

The tone’s not quite me. Feed it a sample of your best past copy and say “match this voice,” or switch models. With 800+ on one subscription, one of them will fit.

What’s Next

Once your weekly routine settles in, push further. Try A/B subject line brainstorms before you build the test in Brevo. Use Chat Pro to audit list health across segments. Or use the HotBot Image engine to mock up campaign visuals alongside your copy.

The real unlock isn’t any single prompt. It’s that your marketing thinking and your data finally live in the same chat window instead of separate tabs.

Ready? Sign in or subscribe and connect Brevo. Your first recap takes about two minutes.

FAQ

Do I need to be a member to connect Brevo?

Yes. Connecting apps like Brevo is a members-only HotBot feature, so you have to be signed in. Free-tier users can still paste Brevo content into HotBot and prompt against it manually, but the direct connection requires a membership. Sign in here.

Is HotBot an official Brevo product?

No. HotBot is an independent AI chat service and isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by Brevo. Third-party names like Brevo identify the apps and models you can work with inside HotBot.

Can HotBot send my Brevo campaigns automatically?

No, and that’s intentional. Like Brevo’s other AI connectors, HotBot creates drafts only. You review everything and send or schedule manually from your Brevo account, so nothing goes out without your approval.

Is this a good Brevo ChatGPT alternative?

If you want one subscription instead of paying per model, yes. HotBot gives you access to 800+ models plus its own Chat, Chat Plus, and Chat Pro tiers, so you can pick the right one for each task rather than being stuck with a single model.

How much does HotBot cost?

There’s a free tier, then $7.95/week or $39.95/quarter. The paid tiers unlock connectors like Brevo. See the pricing page for what’s included.

Which model should I use for campaign analysis?

For deep, multi-campaign analysis, HotBot Chat Pro with its 1M-token context handles long history best. For quick recaps and everyday drafting, HotBot Chat is faster and works fine.
